Hi Guys,

You may have noticed that the stats have been reset on the server.

This is due to a failed attempt to fix the problem of zombies being penalized heavily on ranking points.

I was sent an edited plugin script to ignore zombie deaths, but unfortunately it did not work as expected.

We are still thinking of ideas of making the ranking system more effective.

A small tweak I made with zombies was giving 3-4 pts per kill compared to survivors 1 pt per kill.

I will keep you guys updated in the future regarding this topic.

Hey Cam,

Are there any more intended updates to the ranking system short term that may cause the ranking to be reset?

If this may happen in the future maybe we can look and getting the current ranking exported to the new script to allow for players online that have worked up the ranking to maintain their position. It is now a major motivating factor of gameplay to progress in the ranking and if there ranking is reset to oftern it may upset players.

As you can tell i am one of the players that is crazy about rankings.

I will be number 1 tonight even if it kills me lol.
